Funeral Services for Ms. Yvonne Marie Cross age 53 of Natchitoches will be held at the Winnfield Funeral Home Chapel Saturday, April 10, 2010, 4:00 p. m. with public visitation from 1:00 p. m. to service time at the funeral home. Yvonne Marie Cross, lovingly known as 'Cheese, Fred, Chic, Freddie the Frog, 'E', Vonnie Marie, Tee Von and Moma,' went to rest from this life on Friday, April 2, 2010, in Natchitoches, LA. after a long battle with cancer. Yvonne was born in Bermuda, LA, to the late Joseph Cross, Jr. and Eula Cross on June 30, 1956. Yvonne Marie was very vibrant, happy, funny and full of life. You only had to meet her once and you would know her forever. Her name should have been Joy, She loved to cook for everyone (even when you were not hungry). Even though she faced a mean fight, she was very encouraging and never let her pain stop her. If you'd ask how she was doing, she would turn it around and check on you. She did this to so many all the time. Those she leaves to cherish her wonderful and happy memories are her mother, Eula Cross; two sisters, Barbara Cross Samuel (David) and Ida Deloache (Jesse); brother Ronald Cross, Sr. (Patricia); her children and grandchildren, Tarsha (Terran, Melvin, Jr, and Malcolm), Ronald (Rionese and Amber), Klairone (Kourtney and Kiron), Tarressa Nicole (Courtland) and Kim (Kaleb and Kevin). She is also survived by her nieces and nephews: Camesha, Davit, Tenesha, DeWayne, T.C., Contessa, Wayne, Brianca, Andria, Nick, Calvin, David and Jeremiah.
