Funeral service for Mr. Wilson Remo Jr. age 71 of Flora Natchez will be held Saturday April 17, 2010 at 11:00 a.m. at the Chapel of Winnfield Funeral Home with Rev. Henry Butler officiating. Interment will follow in the Pentecost B.C. Cemetery, Cypress, LA. Visitation will be held on Friday April 16, 2010 from 6-9 p.m. at Winnfield Funeral Home. On Saturday, April 10, 2010 Heaven received the gentle, caring spirit of Wilson Remo, Jr. He was born on August 14, 1938 to the late Wilson Remo, Sr. and Wynedia Curry in Natchitoches, LA. He accepted Christ in his latter years and joined the St. Augustine B.C. in Melrose, LA. Wilson had a great love for his children, grandchildren, animals, fishing and hunting. He would often take his grandson, Peanut fishing and talk to him about his guns and animals. Preceded him in death are: his parents; his wife, Abbegail Robinson Remo and one brother, Winston Remo. He leaves to cherish his memory: his loving (9) nine children, Wynedia Thompson, Roderick Robinson and Kayla Robinson all of Robeline, LA.; Jason Robinson of Natchez, LA; Gerald Edmond of Natchitoches, LA; Emmanuel Remo and Michael Remo of Natchitoches, LA; Glenda Remo of Campti, LA; Larry Remo of Powhatan, LA; (7) seven brothers, Phillip Remo of Natchez, LA; Jeff Remo and Raymond Remo of Natchitoches, LA; Manuel Remo and Floyd Curry of Los Angeles, CA; Lloyd Remo of Stockton, CA and Steve LaCour of Houston, TX; (3) three sisters, Doris Mitchell and Margie Remo of Carson, CA and Mildred Duncan of Houston, TX; (1) one aunt, Eva Davis; (1) one great aunt, Jimmy Burton; a host of sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, grandchildren, great grandchildren, great-great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
