Willie B. McCrary, 90, an independent businessman, contractor and livestock farmer. departed this life on Sunday, Jan. 30, 2011. Mr. McCrary was a native of New Orleans but relocated to Baker in 2005. He is survived by his beloved wife of 68 years, Annie Mack-McCrary; eight daughters, Ernestine McCrary-Saul, Geraldine, of Flint, Mich., Rose, Brenda, Beverly, Cheryl McCrary-Slack, Alysia and Ametris McCrary-Hatcher; five sons, Alvin, Charles, Larry, Melvin and Mark: 34 grandchildren and 45 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by sons, Willie B. McCrary Jr. and James McCrary.
