Funeral services for Mr. Walter Abrams, Jr., age 66, of Winnfield, La., will be held Monday, September 14, 2009, at 11:00 A.M. at the Mt. Olive Missionary Baptist Church with Pastor James Leonard officiating. Interment will follow in the Winnfield Cemetery. Visitation is Sunday from 6-8 P.M. at the funeral home. Mr. Abrams, a truck driver, passed Tuesday, September 8, 2009 in the Winn Parish Medical Center in Winnfield, La. Mr. Abrams is survived by: his wife, Doris Abrams of Winnfield, La; five(5) sons, Antonio Abrams of Houston, Tx; Carlos Jones of Shreveport, La; Kendrick Abrams, Kevin McDonald, and Demmaris Jackson,all of Winnfield, La; five(5) daughters, Marilyn Booker , and Persha Gibson, both of Shreveport, La; Tiffany Mayfield of Indianapolis, Ind; Gulia Booker, and Tanika Boyd, both of Winnfield, La; two(2) sisters, Ruthie M. Stanley of Victorville, Ca; Brenda Wells of Winnfield, La; Additional survivors include numerous grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
