Legacy Of Mrs. Vanessa Mae Johnson Funeral Services for Mrs. Vanessa Mae Johnson will be held Saturday, September 26, 2009 at 1:00 p. m. at the We Care Ministries Church at 750 Ouida Drive, Natchitoches, LA. Visitation will be convened at the Church on Saturday from 11:00 a. m. until service time. Mrs. Johnson was born to the parentage of the late Mr. Leonard Stewart and Mrs. Violet Best Steward August 4, 1953 in Dallas, Texas. She departed this life September 18, 2009 at the St. Frances Cabrini Hospital in Alexandria. She was preceded in death by two sisters and one brother, Mrs. Patricia Harris, Mrs. Gwen Ingram and Mr. Bertram Best. Mrs. Johnson was a member of the Christian Outreach Center Church in 1988 and later joined the We Care Ministries in 2005 where she remained a faithful member until death. She was a true advocate of soul winning for Christ! She was educated in the public schools of Los Angeles, California, a city where she lived for a number of years. Left to cherish her memory are her husband, Mr. Herman Johnson; two daughters, Mrs. Shontae Craig (Abraham) and Mrs. Lashay Robinson (Van); four sons, Mr. Joel Stewart, Mr. Trayvon Johnson, Mr. Jermaine Johnson and Mr. Derion Johnson; eight grandchildren, Gregory Stewart, Deshawn Stewart, Cordell Stewart, Van Robinson, Jr., Abrianna Craig, Jacobi Robinson, and Javon Robinson; five sisters, Mrs. Deborah Fininen, Ms. Shiela Stewart, Mrs. Linda Pierce; one brother, Mr. Donald Ray Stewart and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
