Funeral services for Mr. Uvonne 'SLUG' Moore, age 68, of Winnfield, La., will be held Thursday, Feb. 26, 2009, at 2:00 P.M. in the chapel of Winnfield Funeral Home of Winnfield with Rev. Tommy Hamms officiating. Interment will follow in the Winnfield Cemetery. Visitation is Wednesday from 6-8 P.M. Mr. Moore,a pulpwood industry employee, passed Thursday, Feb. 19, 2009, in the Winn Parish Medical Center of Winnfield, La. Mr. Moore is survived by: his wife, Dyice Moore of Winnfield, La., two(2) sons, Roger Thomas of Winnfield, La., and John Thomas of Ruston, La. ;two(2) daughters, Rosie Thomas, and Viola Thomas, both of Winnfield, La. Other survivors include one(1) sister, Valerie Ford of Winnfield, La., several grandchlldren, and great grandchildren, nephews, nieces, cousins, and friends.
