She took her journey on August 10, 2009 at 8:30 p. m. in the Natchitoches Rehabilitation Nursing Home. This soldier will never be forgotten, for she was truly steadfast, unmovable and always abiding in the word of the Lord. Sis. Tiny Walker County, daughter of the late Lethaniel and Edit Walker was born December 17, 1925 in Montgomery, LA. She was the sixth child of eleven born to this union. She was united in Holy Matrimony to the late John County. To this union no children were born. She united with the Pleasant Hill Baptist Church at an early age. She was a faithful member of the New Heaven Missionary Baptist Church in Detroit, Michigan. She leaves to cherish her memory two sons, Gary and Vernon of Los Angeles, California; one daughter-in-law, Linda, four sisters, three grand daughters, two grand sons, two brothers-in-law, and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
