A loving and devoted mother and a certified nursing assistant, she died Sunday, March 23, 2008, at Lane Regional Medical Center, Zachary. She was 39, a resident of Baker and a native of Baton Rouge. Visiting at Winnfield Funeral Home, on Saturday, March 29, from 8:30 a.m. until religious service at 1 p.m., conducted by the Rev. Paul St. Amant. Interment in Winnfield Memorial Park. Survived by her parents, Sylvia and Manuel Johnson; three sons, Detrick and Antionne Johnson and Juwan Wright; two sisters, Bridgette and Natalie Johnson; two brothers, Dwayne and Derrick Johnson; six nieces, six nephews and a host of other relatives and friends. Preceded in death by her grandparents, Elsie and Moses Atkins, Lizzie Selders Johnson and James Johnson; and an aunt and uncle. She was a 1986 graduate of Capitol High School.
