Tameka "A-1" Blount, 43, returned to her heavenly home on September 6, 2017 after her battle with cancer. She accepted Christ at an early age at Greater Hope Church and reunited with Christ at Praise Temple Full Gospel. Her devotion to her family and her belief in God supported her in her struggle and ultimately gave her peace. Tameka Delane Blount was born to John Hanna and Gloria Blount, in Shreveport, La on July 25, 1974. She was a loving and caring mother who loved her kids dearly. Tameka is known as fun and out– going to the plenty of family and friends she was blessed to have. She is dearly missed by her love ones, who celebrate the fact that she is at peace with her creator. Tameka is survived by her kids, Marcedes, Ta' Marcus, Marcus and Goddaughter, Jazzy; her parents, John and Rosie Hanna and Gloria Blount; her grandkids, Tierney, Markaylen, King , and Tiana; her sister, TaShunda; her nieces and nephews, Bobby, Jamie, Shannon, and Emmanuel. She is preceded in death by her grandmother, Virginia Davis; grandfather, Percy Blunt; aunt, Kathy Surry; brother, Juanyon Gray and nephew, Antonio Smith.
