It is with heavy hearts, we the family of Mrs. Susie Mae Williams Edwards, announce her passing.

Mrs. Edwards was born March 23,1944 to the late Deacon Albert R. Williams Sr and Willie Mae Washington Williams. Her family affectionately called her "Biddy".

She was a proud graduate of Union High School Class of '63 and Grambling State University. She served her community for over 20 years as a devout elementary educator at Summerfield and Oak Park Elementary in Caddo Parish.

Mrs. Edwards was a friend to many and a stranger to very few.

She is preceded in death by her parents and brothers Albert Jr and Alfred Lee.

Mrs. Edwards leaves to cherish her memory, her children Marian Edwards Arrington Cale and Mervin Kent Edwards, her grandson Andray Edwards, her sister Mrs. Eula Johnson of Houston, Texas and a host of family and friends.

"For I am convinced that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor rulers, nor things present, nor things to come, nor powers, nor height, nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God in Christ Jesus our Lord." - Romans 8:35, 37-39

Mrs. Edwards will be deeply missed.
