Funeral services for Mrs. Susie Mae Smith, age 74, of Winnfield, La., will be held Saturday, May 8, 2010, at 1:00 P.M. in the chapel of Winnfield Funeral Home with Rev. Tommy Hamms officiating. Interment will follow in the Oak Ridge B.C. Cemetery. Viewing will be Saturday from 8:30 A.M. until 1:00 P.M. Mrs. Smith, a retired plywood plant employee, passed Sunday at her residence. Mrs. Smith is survived by: four(4) sons, Virgil Smith, Michael Smith and Lonnie Smith, all of Winnfield, La; and Darriel Smith of Dallas, Tx. two(2) daughters, Ilene Mitchell of Natchitoches, La. and Marilyn Smith of Wharton,Tx; one(1) sister, Earline Hunter of Natchitoches, La; five(5) brothers, Tony Austin, Prentice Austin and Jimmy Austin, all of Winnfield, La; Will Austin of Jonesboro, La; Joe Austin of Woodville, Tx. She is also survived by fifteen(15) grandchildren, sixteen(16) great grandchildren, many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
