A management analyst for the Louisiana OCS/DCS, she died at 7:40 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 22, 2011, at her home in Baton Rouge. She was 55 and a native of Fort Knox, Ky. Visiting at Winnfield Funeral Home on Friday, Jan. 28, from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. and Saturday, Jan. 29, from noon until religious service at 1 p.m., conducted by the Rev. Dudley Jackson. She is survived by her father and stepmother, Willie and Joyce Lloyd; two daughters, Kayla Jean Allen, 17, and Brittney Ann Brown, 27; a son, Kenny Wayne Allen Jr., 20; four maternal sisters, Debora Faye Lloyd, Lydia Marie Triplett, Darlene Collins and Ursula Marie Solomon; a paternal sister, Lisa Lloyd; and two paternal brothers, Eric and Christopher Lloyd. She was preceded in death by her mother, Sybil Jean Collins; grandmother, Mary Alice Baham-Carter; uncle, Joe-Alvin Carter; and aunt and uncle, Inez and Norman Lloyd. She was a graduate of Baton Rouge High School and attended LSU before her employment with the state of Louisiana. She was a loyal state worker for more than 30 years. She enjoyed working and spending time with her children and sisters. She was very generous and loving toward everyone
