Funeral services for Mrs. Ruthie M. Calvin, age 78, of Winnfield, La., will be held Tuesday, March 23, 2010, at 1:00 P.M. in the chapel of Winnfield, La., with Rev. Tommy Hamms officiating. Interment will follow in the Winnfield Cemetery. Visitation is Monday from 6-8 P.M,. at the funeral home. Mrs. Calvin, a homemaker, passed Tuesday, March 16, 2010, at the Rapides Regional Medical Center in Alexandria, La. Mrs. Calvin is survived by: three(3) sons, Donald Chatman and Jimmy Chatman, both of Minneapolis, Mn; and Johnny Chatman of Winnfield, La; four(4) daughters, Mary Chatman of Minneapolis, Mn; Martha Rhone, Marsha Chatman and Cora McHampton, all of Winnfield, La. one(1) sister, Maxine McGarity of Houston, Tx; one(1) brother, Tommy Chatman of Winnfield, La; two(2) stepsisters, Helen Williams of Houston, Tx; and Leola Landis, of Lake Charles, La. Additional survivors include: twenty two(22) grandchildren, twenty four(24) great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
