Obituary of Mr. Robert William Wikstrom Funeral Services for Mr. Wikstrom will be held at the Shady Grove Baptist Church Saturday, January 2, 2010 at 1:00 p. m. with public visitation at the church from 12:30 to service time. Burial with full Military Honors for this retired veteran of the U. S. Army will follow in the Shady Grove Community Cemetery. Mr. Robert William Wikstrom was born June 8, 1934 in Quincy, Massachusetts to the parentage of the late Mr. Walter Wikstrom and Mrs. Dorothy Somers Wikstrom. He peacefully departed this life December 29, 2009 at the Highland Schumpert Hospital in Shreveport. He was united in Holy Matrimony to Mrs. Juanita Lynch Wikstrom and they have resided in Natchitoches Parish since 1999. Mr. Wikstrom was spiritually led to unite with the Shady Grove Baptist Church and became a dutiful member of that congregation. He was blessed to have been selected as a Deacon and served in that capacity until his health failed. He was preceded in death by his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Walter Wikstrom and one sister, Barbara Ann Gallop. Left to cherish his memory are his wife, Mrs. Juanita Lynch Wikstrom of the Shady Grove Community in Natchitoches Parish; one brother, Mr. Charles S. Wikstrom of Florida and one sister, Mrs. Ruth Elizabeth Wikstrom Smith, of Massachusetts.
