A resident of Baton Rouge, he died Friday, Sept. 24, 2010, at Our Lady of the Lake Regional Medical Center. He was 81 and a native of Fayette, Miss. Visiting at Winnfield Funeral Home on Saturday, Oct. 9, from 8:30 a.m. until religious service at 10 a.m., conducted by the Rev. Eddie Sulcer. Interment in Winnfield Memorial Park. Survived by his wife, Ruby Tenner; daughter, Daisy Cannon, Baker; two sons, Cary Jenkins and Robert Robinson, both of Baton Rouge; sister, Mamie and husband Leroy Wells, Baton Rouge; two grandchildren, four great-grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
