Robert Louis Atkins was born on January 13, 1948 to John and Ola Atkins in Frierson, La. he accepted Christ at a early age. Robert served in the U.S Army and was a Machine Operator at a factory company. He passed this life on Thursday, November 9, 2017 at Garden Park Nursing Home in Shreveport, La. He is preceded in death by his wife: Jerry Kelly Atkins, his parents; John and Ola Atkins. Robert leaves to cherish his memories: his children; Tameka Patton, Rederick Atkins, Rodrick Stokes, two grandchildren; Morgan Patton and Jordin Atkins, seven siblings; Lillie Atkins, Edward Charles Atkins, Mary Hamilton, John Stanley Atkins, Mable Jeter, Jim Johnson and Dianne Calmese and a host of other relatives and friends.
