Funeral services for Richard Earl Jones, age 62, of Winnfield, La., will be held Saturday, February 20, 2010, at 11:00 A.M. in the chapel of Winnfield Funeral Home of Winnfield, with Rev. Otis Corley, Sr., officiating. Interment will follow in the Winnfield Cemetery. Visitation is Friday from 6-8 P.M. Mr. Jones, a welder, passed Monday, February 15, 2010, at the Winn Parish Medical Center in Winnfield, La. Mr. Jones is survived by: his companion, Betty Hall, of Winnfield, La; one(1) daughter, Roketa Davis, of Dallas, Tx; two(2) sons, D'Angelo Caesar of Winnfield, La; Robert Earl Holden, of Baton Rouge, La; one(1) sister, Melo D. White, of Galveston, Tx; five(5) brothers, Samson Jones, Jr., George Jones, Jasper Jones, Michael Jones and Rosevelt Jones, all of Galveston, Tx; stepmother, Mary Jones, of Galveston, Tx; six(6) grandchildren, several nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
