Obituary

Raymond LaQuin Harris was born to the union of Junior and Arbell Harris on January 28,1969.He was the baby boy in the family of 10 children. Raymond accepted Christ at an early age in unity of his home church, Holy Ground Church of God In Christ.He grew up in a well spritual family who stood and prayed together and shared many memories. Raymond encoutered a very special relationship with all his sisters and brothers,along with family and friends, whom he cherished and loved dearly. He graduated from Winnfield Senior High School in 1987 and in this year he encountered a relationship with LaShaun Evans and they were blessed with two beautiful twins. He later met the love of his life,Geen Dunlap,and during this time,Raymond became a hard dedicated worker as a truck driver.They then moved to Dallas,TX and started a more successful life together. On Wednesday,September 14,2011,Raymond Harris answered the call from the Lord.He was preceded in death by his parents,Junior Harris, and District Missionary Arbell Harris and one nephew, Christopher Polk.Raymond was a devoted husband,father and grandfather. He will be truly missed by many family and friends. He leaves to cherish his memories: His faithful and dedicated wife Geen Harris,two kids (twins), Lamarion De'Quin Evans, and Laketra De'Shaye Evans and one grandson Jamaree Rayshon Steptoe. Four stepchildren, Darcus Postell, Veronica Postell, Lashonda Postell, and Carlandous Dunlap and six step grandchildren. Thirteen sisters and brothers: Clozelle Mathis(Larry) Oklahoma City, OK, Mary Betters, Eldorado, AR, Jesse Yarbrough(Larry), Eldorado, AR, Raymond Earl Betters(Debra), Strong, AR, Dorothy Polk and Judy Mamon(Jimmy), both from Winnfield, LA, Keith Betters, Strong, AR, Rickey Harris Aiken, SC, ROnnie Harris(Li), Darrell Harris(Nandina), Johnny Harris, and Micheal Harris, all of Winnfield, Louisiana an baby sister Sherry Harris of Little Rock, AR. Two Special Aunts, Orene Sherman (Eldorado, AR), Dorothy Howard(Levelt) Milwaukee, AR. Two Special daughters, Kameisha Evans and Chanti'Keela' Fobbs and a host of nieces and newphews and friends. Visitation is set for Friday, September 23, 2011 from 6-8pm at Winnfield Funeral Home. Funeral services will be on Saturday, September 24, 2011 at 11:00 am in the Tommy G. Hamms Memorial Chapel, all located at 117 Martin Luther King, Jr. Drive. Interment will follow in the WInnfeild Cemetery located on HWY 167 North.
