Funeral services for Mr. Ray Raybon, age 69, of Winnfield, La., will be held Friday, Jan. 23, 2009, at 1:00 P.M. in the chapel of Winnfield Funeral Home of Winnfield, with Rev. Tommy Hamms officiating. Interment will follow in the Winnfield Cemetery. Visitation is Thursday from 6-8 P.M. Mr. Raybon, a retired logger, passed Friday, Jan. 16, 2009, in the Winn Parish Medical Center. Mr. Raybon is survived by: his companion Shirley Alexander, of Winnfield, La., three(3) sons; Kenneth Raybon and Dennis Raybon, both of Jonesboro,La; Cornelius Raybon, of Dallas, Tx. one(1) daughter, Janice Stringfellow, of Kileen, Tx. Other survivors include one(1) sister, Eartha Powell, of Menlo Park, Ca. six(6) grandchildren, and one(1) great grandchild, other relatives and friends.
