Funeral services for Mrs.Rachel B.Tatum,age 81,of Olla,La.will be held Saturday,September 27,2008,at 11:00A.M.at the Harmonia B.C. of Olla,La.with Rev.Tommy Hamms officiating.Interment will follow in the Oak Forest Cemetery in Olla,La.under the direction of Winnfield Funeral Home of Winnfield,La.Visitation is Friday from 6-9P.M.at the Harmonia B.C. Mrs.Tatum,a retired LaSalle Parish School Board employee,passed away Sunday,September 21,2008,at her residence,after an extended illness. Mrs.Tatum is survived by:one(1)daughter,Barbara(Donnie) Monroe,of Columbia,La;one(1) son,Jeff(Rosie)Tatum,Jr. of Monroe,La.two(2)granddaughters,Janay Monroe,of Olla,La;Chelsea Tatum,of Monroe,La.Special niece and nephew,Sandra Murphy of Olla,La.,Melvin Murphy,of Stanford,Ct.three(3) foster daughters,Catrina Cauley,of Lake Charles,La;Vanessa Curtis,of Cartersville,Ga;Jessica Cauley,of Ferriday,La.twelve(12) foster grandchildren.Other survivors include two(2) brothers,Robert(Irene)Barnes,of Olla,La;Thomas Barnes,of Baton Rouge,La;one(1) God Granddaughter,Ebony Smith,of Jena,La.
