Funeral services for Ms. Rachel Childs, age 93, of Calvin, La., will be held Thursday, January 7, 2010, at 1:00 P.M. in the chapel of Winnfield Funeral Home of Winnfield, with Rev. Otis Corley, Sr., officiating. Interment will follow in the Saline Grove B.C. Cemetery near Calvin, La. Visitation is Wednesday from 6-8 P.M. Ms. Childs, a homemaker, passed Tuesday, December 29, 2009, at the Specialty Hospital of Winnfield. Ms. Childs is survived by: one(1) son, Charles D. Childs of Winnfield, La; four(4) grandchildren; six(6) great grandchildren. Ms. Childs is also survived by many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
