A supervisor with Central Service at Our Lady of the Lake Regional Medical Center, she died at 11:05 p.m. Wednesday, March 23, 2011, at Our Lady of the Lake Regional Medical Center. She was 62 and a resident and native of Baton Rouge. Visiting at Winnfield Funeral Home on Tuesday, March 29, from 8:30 a.m. until religious service at 1 p.m., conducted by the Rev. Raymond Plain. Interment in Winnfield Memorial Park. She is survived by two daughters, Marcenette Pleasant Carney and Dekisha Pleasant Michell; son, Dequal Darnell Pleasant; brother, Edward Wayne Pleasant; and eight grandchildren. Preceded in death by her father, Thomas Pleasant Sr.; mother, Mary B.
