Patricia Lee Thornton was born in Shreveport, Louisiana, to the late John L. Tyler and Gussie Lee Tyler. She was raised in Shreveport and accepted Christ at an early age. She lived outside of Shreveport for a while but returned to Shreveport many years ago and has been a member of Sunrise Baptist Church since her return. She succumbed to heart failure on August 12, 2024. She leaves to mourn many family members and friends, including two sons, three grandchildren, seven great grandchildren. The visitation /viewing hours will be on Friday, August 23, at Winnfield Funeral Home from 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM. Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, August 24, at Sunrise Baptist Church at 11:00 AM.
