A resident and native of Baton Rouge, he died at 2:48 p.m. Monday, June 28, 2010, at Our Lady of the Lake Regional Medical Center. He was 60. Visiting at Winnfield Funeral Home Saturday, July 3, from 8:30 a.m. until religious service at 1 p.m., conducted by the Rev. Jerry Johnson. Interment in Winnfield Memorial Park. He is survived by daughters, Latasha and LaTonya Willis, both of Baton Rouge; sons, Marshall Johnson and Terrence Willis, both of Baton Rouge; sisters, Shirley and husband Lonnie Roberts, of Marin City, Calif., Edna Bradford, Billie Jean Christophe and Mary and husband Gregory Alford, all of Baton Rouge; brothers, Willie and James Fortune, both of San Francisco, his twin, Emile and wife Janice Johnson, and Larry Johnson, all of Baton Rouge; his fiancée, Mildred Willis; daughter-in-law, Tammy Johnson; and three grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his mother, Willie Mae Freeman Fortune Johnson; father, Ben Johnson Sr. brothers, Ben Johnson Jr. and Robert Johnson Sr.; sister, Geraldine Boudreaux; and son, Michael Johnson.
