Funeral Services will be held in Shreveport, LA at the Mt. Chapel Baptist Church, 4034 Flora St., 71109, Saturday, January 22, 2011 at 11:00 a. m. Public viewing will be convened at the church one hour prior to the service time. Burial will follow in Forest Park West Cemetery in Shreveport, LA. The Obituary Of Deacon Ola James Lloyd A Time to be Born Brother Lloyd was born to Ether and Irma Lloyd November 18, 1919 in St. Maurice, LA. A Time to Enter Rest He departed this earthly life for eternal rest and everlasting life on Thursday, January 13, 2011 at the Natchitoches Regional Medical Center. And A Time to Plant Brother Lloyd was baptized at an early age at Evergreen Baptist Church in St. Maurice, LA and later joined the Mount Chapel Baptist Church in Shreveport, LA. And A Time to Mourn His wife, Mrs. Bessie Barnes Lloyd, both parents and two sisters, Asaline Myles, Murlberta Tanner preceded him in death. And A Time of Peace Brother Lloyd is now at peace, resting in the redemptive love of his Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ. He will be greatly missed by his brother Adoff Lloyd of Houston, Texas, his niece and Godchild, Mildred Snell of Trenton, New Jersey and nephew, Cleavell Clark of Tannehill, LA and a host of nieces and nephews/great, great nieces and nephews and other relatives and friends.
