Obituary of Mr. Noward Williams, Jr. Mr. Noward Williams, Jr. was born September 18, 1943 in Natchitoches Parish to the parentage of the late Mr. Noward Williams, Sr. and Mrs. Beatrice Howard Williams. He passed away December 23, 2009 at his residence surrounded by family and friends. He accepted Christ as personal Savior and was baptized at an early age under the spiritual leadership of the late Rev. Gentry Davis at the St. Paul Missionary Baptist Church. His education was accomplished in the Natchitoches Parish Public School System where he attended the St. Matthew High School of Melrose, La. Mr. Williams was preceded in death by his parents, one sister, Lena Williams and one brother, Roosevelt Williams and a son, Alvin Williams. Those who will forever cherish his memory are: his two daughters, Mrs. Carol Steward (Jimmy) and Ms. Barbara Williams of Natchitoches; his dear friend, Ms. Annie Robinson, eight grandchildren; seven sisters, six brothers, and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Services for Mr. Williams will be held Saturday, December 26, 2009 at the Winnfield Funeral Home Chapel in Natchitoches at 2:00 p. m. Public visitation will be convened at the funeral home on Saturday from 8:00 a. m. until service time.
