We mourn the loss and Celebrate the Life and Legacy of Mrs. Nettie Mae Woodson 57, of Shreveport, La. Mrs. Nettie Woodson was born June 27, 1960 to the late Jeremiah Davis and Sarah Young. She grew up in Frierson, Louisiana. She accepted Christ at an early age at the New Zion Baptist Church in Frierson, Louisiana. She met and married Robert Charles Woodson and to this union one child was born. Nettie worked at Holy Angels for over 25 years. On October 27, 2017, Mrs. Nettie Mae Davis Woodson, departed this earthly life and entered rest. She was preceded in death by her parents, Jeremiah Davis and Sarah Young; sister, Hastine Oliver; brothers, James Burns, Sammie Davis, Sonny Boy Davis and Robert Earl Young. She leaves to cherish her loving memory: husband, Robert C. Woodson; son, Justin C. Woodson; daughter-in-law, Sharee T. Woodson; granddaughter, Hailey Mae Woodson; step-grandson, Jarvis Woodard; aunt, Lillie Mae Phillips; five sisters, Linda Davis Young (Pastor Bobby Young), Gertrude Davis Thomas (Reverend Floyd Thomas), Merle Rice Davis, Patsy Ann Davis, and Annie Harvey (Myron); brother, Robert Lane; five sisters-in-law; three brothers-in-law and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.Please keep the Woodson Family lifted in your prayers.
