We mourn the loss and Celebrate the Life and Legacy of Mrs. Mozelle O. Norris 80, of Shreveport, La.
MOZELLE OSBORNE NORRIS was the fourth of nine children born in Caddo Parish, Louisiana, on May 17, 1938 to the late Mrs. Ida M. Spearman and the late Andrew Osborne, Sr.
She confessed Jesus Christ at a very early age and was united with the Upper Zion Baptist Church in Blanchard, Louisiana, where she served as an usher for many years. Later, Mrs. Norris became a member of Sunflower Baptist Church in Bossier City, Louisiana.
Mozelle Norris was united in holy matrimony to Mr. Quincy Norris on July 28, 1966. She was employed at the Overton Brooks VA Hospital for 20 years before she retired.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Quincy Norris; mother, Ida M. Spearman; father, Andrew Osborne, Sr.; three sisters: Ola, Bertha and Charlesetta; three brothers, Andrew, Jr., Leroy, Jr. and Dee.
Mozelle leaves to cherish her memory: one sister, Mayor Ollie S. Tyler; one brother, Pastor James A. Spearman, Sr. (Elizabeth); a special friend, Mr. I. V. Davenport; a host of nieces, nephews, grand nieces, grand nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
