Funeral services for Mrs. Mathilda B. Jewitt, age 90, of Winnfield, La., will be held Saturday, June 20, 2009, at 11:30 A.M. in the chapel of Winnfield Funeral Home of Winnfield, with Rev. Jerry Johnson officiating. Interment will follow in the Union Hill B.C. Cemetery near Winnfield, La. Visitation is Friday from 6-8 P.M. Mrs. Jewitt, a homemaker, passed Monday, June 15, 2009, on her 90th birthday, in the Winn Parish Medical Center in Winnfield, La. Mrs. Jewitt is survived by: four(4)sons, Walter Jewitt, of Natchitoches, La; Johnny Jewitt, of New Roads, La; Jessie Jewitt, of Winnfield, La; and Rev. David Jewitt, Sr., of Monroe, La. three(3) daughters: Francis Jewitt, and Rosa Jewitt, both of Houston, Tx; Bessie Walker, of Ruston, La; one(1) sister, Ida Pamilton, of Natchitoches, La. Other survivors include: twenty six(26) grandchildren, twenty five(25) great grandchildren, sixteen(16) great great grandchildren, two(2) great great great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
