Mary Ella Samuels (Baby Dee) or (Big Dee), retired as a Food Service Worker, She passed this life on November 26, 2017 at her home. Mary Samuels was born on November 14, 1932 in Shreveport, La to Minnie Bell and Daniel Thomas Pennington. She is preceded in death by her husband; Reverend Jasper Samuels, one son Albert Earl Brown, and her parents; Minnie Bell and Daniel Thomas Pennington. Mary Ella Samuels leaves to cherish her memories: her children; Cynthia Pennington and Jimmy Pennington (Bobby), her 7 grandchildren; Tambra Hayes (John), Dennis Harris (Sharon), Tiana Montgomery, Taneisha Hayes (Patrick), Shneika Davis (Carlos), Shenail Pennington, Sheree Monroe and a host of aunts, nieces nephews, cousins and friends. The funeral service for Mrs. Mary Samuels will be held on December 2, 2017 at 2:00 p. m. at the Winnfield Funeral Home in Shreveport, La.. Family Hour will be December 1, 2017 Friday at 5:00 p. m. to 6:00 p. m. at Winnfield Funeral Home. Interment will be at Lincoln Memorial Park Cemetery.
