We mourn the loss and Celebrate the Life and Legacy of Mrs. Mary Lois Chatman 69, of Shreveport, La. MARY LOIS CHATMAN was born April 23, 1948 to Mary Lee Gray Abraham and Ozzie Abraham, Sr. in Tallulah, Louisiana. She was the oldest of 12, and accepted Christ at an early age. Mary was affectionately called Lois by all of her friends and family. Always willing to help any and every one. She would say "never turn anyone down, you never know when you may need them." On January 13, 2018, Mary Lois Chatman, departed this earthly life and entered into rest. She was preceded in death by her parents, Mary Lee Gray Abraham and Ozzie Abraham, Sr.; two brothers, Ozzie Abraham, Jr. and James Abraham; and one sister, Elizabeth Abraham. Mary leaves to remember her, a loving husband of 53 years, John Henry Chatman; two sons, John Alex Chatman and Anthony Bryant Chatman; one daughter, Aneidra Chatman; one sister, Gracie Wright; one brother, Johnny Abraham; three step-sisters; three step-brothers; seven grandchildren; four great grandchildren; a host of friends and family.
