Margaret Marie Joseph A resident of Baton Rouge and a native of New Roads, she died at 6:30 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 20, 2008, at Our Lady of the Lake Regional Medical Center. She was 59. Visiting at Winnfield Funeral Home, 7221 Plank Road, on Monday, Dec. 1, from 8:30 a.m. until religious service at 10 a.m., conducted by the Rev. Dave Mays Jr. Interment in St. Luke Baptist Church Cemetery, Ventress. Sister Margaret leaves to cherish precious and loving memory: her four daughters, Amanda Joseph, Debora Chiffens and husband Darnell, Vanessa Joseph and Marlene Joseph, all of Baton Rouge; eight grandchildren; five sisters, Joyce Watts, of Fairfield, Calif., Jessie Mae Maten, of Baton Rouge, Rita Ann Martin and Diane Parker, both of Hartford, Conn., and Lubertha Fields, of New Roads; four brothers, Milton and Wilfred Harris, both of Baton Rouge, Dennis Harris, of Hartford, and Lucus Hoffman, of Lafayette; a special friend, Harry 'Big' Jones; and a very devoted friend, Shelton Nero. Sister Margaret was preceded in death by her mother, Bertha Williams; father, Jim Harris Jr.; and husband, Lazin Paul Joseph.
