Funeral services for Mr. Major Williams age 74 of Natchez will be held Saturday, March 28, 2009 at 10:00 a.m. at Morning Star B.C., Natchez. Rev. Roosevelt Toussaint officiating. Visitation Friday, March 27, 2009 from 6-9 p.m. at the funeral home. Mr. Williams was born April 20, 1934 to the late Ella Belle and Henry Williams of Flora, LA. He was the second of four children. Two sisters Helen McGaskey and Georgia Ray Mallard and one brother, Julius Patrick all of which preceded him in death. He joined the Air Force Branch of the Armed Services and was honorably discharge in 1963. Survivors include: one daughter, Sharon Williams of Dallas, TX, one son, John Williams (Suzanne) of Galveston, TX, three grandchildren, Kristen Williams, Taryn Anderson and David-Krauth-Williams, three great grandchildren, Toi`Sevia Simmons, ToiShana Simmons and Toice Simmons Jr., thirteen nieces, nephews, and a host of relatives and friends.
