Funeral services for Mrs. Lizzie M. Turner, age 78, of Winnfield, La., will be held Saturday, July 18, 2009, at 11:00 A.M. at the Mt. Olive Missionary Baptist Church, with Rev. James Leonard, Jr., officiating. Interment will follow in the Winnfield Cemetery. Visitation is Friday from 6-8 P.M. at the funeral home. Mrs. Turner, a retired plywood plant employee, passed Friday, July 10,2009, at the Baylor Hospital in Waxahachie, Texas. Mrs. Turner is survived by: two(2) sons, Darrell Turner of Winnfield, La., and Jerry Turner of Oakland, Ca; three(3) daughters, Heddie Porter of Midlothian, Tx., Martha Booker of Winnfield, La., and Shirley Turner of Broadview, Ill. Additional survivors include eighteen(18) grandchildren, twenty(20) great grandchildren, other relatives and friends.
