Visitation will be held at Winnfield Funeral Home on Friday, July 16, 2010 - 8:30 AM until religious services at 12:00 Noon immediately followed by interment in Port Hudson National Cemetery. Conducted by Rev. Johnathan Smith. Linda was an Assistant Manager for Family Dollar Stores; a native of New Orleans and a resident of Baton Rouge. She passed on Sunday, July 11, 2010 at the residence of her daughter. She leaves to cherish her memory, husband, Oliver Alexander; Alice Fort by whom she was reared; daughters, Lakeshia Alexander, Shirlaker Alexander, Alexis (Nicholas) Alexander Washington; sisters Gloria Gaston, Delene Stewart; brother, Otis kelly; grandchildren, Gerald Alexander, Nickela Washington, Nilayjah Washington, other relatives and friends.
