Levi Davis Sr. "(Lil Mann/ Lil Boy)" was born September 23, 1938 to the late Emmer Lee Watkins Smiley and Yarber Davis in Bermuda. Cane River, Louisiana. He accepted and confessed Christ as his personal Savior at an early age in life. He was member of St. Matthew Baptist Church, Melrose, Louisiana.
Lil Mann retired from Murco Oil Company in 1998. He was an avid fisherman, vegetable garden grower and domino player. Baseball was his favorite sport. Being a fill-time pawpaw was his favorite thing to do.
God called Lil Boy home June 30, 2017. "Lil-boy" was preceded in death by his parents(Emmer and Yarber) two brothers Clifford Rachel and Nemhi Davis.
Left to cherish Levi is his beloved wife of 54 years Versia Morrison Davis. His aunt Rebecca Little. Sisters: Odie Cloud (Houston, Tx), Dorothy W. Self (little Elm, Tx) and Della Freeman (Alexandria, La). Brothers: Charles Robinson "BJ" (Alexandria, La) and Sylvester Walker (wife Deloris both Houston, Tx) Children: Lee Anthony Fuller (wife Joey Demetria of Shreveport, La.)Dee Emma Davis Blackwell (husband Micheal of Shreveport, La.), Anthony Levin Davis (wife Angela of Dallas, Tx), Levi Davis Jr. (Florissant, Mo.), Gralyne Davis (wife Alexandra of Bossier City, La.), Kellie Anne Davis Tucker (husband Henry of Shreveport, La.), Daryl Earl Davis of Shreveport, La., and eleven grandsons, ten granddaughters, four great-grandsons, three great granddaughters, a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, neighbors, co-workers, and friends.We mourn the death and celebrate the life and legacy of Mr. Levi Davis age 78 of Shreveport.
