Funeral Services for Mrs. Lessie M. Nash will be held June 9, 2012 at 11:00 am Winnfield Funeral Home Chapel. Public Viewing from Noon to 8:00 Friday, June 8, 2012 at Winnfield Funeral Home Lessie passed peacefully from this life the morning of June 6th after a gradual decline in health. She was surrounded and supported by her loving family and caregivers during the last days of her life. Lessie was born in Clarence, LA, but has been a resident of Winnfield, LA since 1937. In 1940 Lessie and her husband Frank Nash, move to beautiful Winnfield, LA where she lived the remainder of her life. Lessie is survived by her daughter: Mrs. Jessie Mae Earl; granddaughter: Patricia Earl; great granddaughter: Chanel Thomas and a host of relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her husband Frank, her son Sonny, and sisters Lucy, Leanna and Rosa. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, June 9th at 11:00am.
