Funeral servics for Mrs. Lela Mae Combs, age 87, of Jonesboro, La., will be held Saturday, October 31, 2009, at 2:00 P.M. at the Mt. Zillah B.C. near Bienville, La., with Rev. J.D. Jackson officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. Mrs. Combs, a homemaker, passed Wednesday, October 21, 2009, at the Jackson Parish Hospital in Jonesboro, La. Mrs. Combs is survived by: three(3) daughters, Louise Stafford of Houston, Tx; Allie Combs of Missouri City, Tx; and Geneal Bradley of Jonesboro, La; three(3) sons, Lawrence Combs, Jr., and Earl Combs, both of Jonesboro, La; and Carl Cooper of Houston, Tx. two(2) brothers, Henry Wimberly of Lucky, La; Ross Cooper of Shreveport, La. Mrs. Combs is also survived by eleven(11) grandchildren, thirteen(13) great grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
