We mourn the loss and Celebrate the Life and Legacy of Mr. Lee Thomas, 75, of Shreveport, La.Mr. Lee Arthur Thomas, A/K/A Pork Chop, was born November 18, 1941 in Shreveport, Louisiana to the late Johnnie B. and Claudie B. Thomas.
At an early age he accepted Christ at Hurricane Bluff Baptist Church. He later united with Jewell Street Baptist Church, under the leadership of Pastor Cleonies Odom, where he served on the Usher Board.
He also loved dancing and listening to music.
Mr. Thomas passed this life on June 5, 2017.
Lee was preceded in death by his grandmother: Willie Mae Barton; parents: Johnnie B and Claudie B Thomas; two wives: Rachel Mae Thomas and Sarah Ann Thomas; daughter: Brenda Thomas; son: Robert Lee Thomas; grand-daughter: Tekeshia Desha Thomas; and great grand-daughter: Tytiana Thomas.
Lee leaves to cherish his memories son; Bishop Robert Charles Thomas (LaVerne), of Marlin, TX; Cynthia Player, Velma Casey (Micheal Sr.), Nikki Thomas, Bobby Thomas (LaSonya), Jeneeka; children through marriage: Avalon Hayes (Michael), Gregory Moore (Mary), Micah Moore, Terry Moore (Jacqueline); brother: John Charles Thomas; aunt: Helen Green, Earlean Barton; eighteen (18) grandchildren, thirty (30) great-grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
