We mourn the loss and Celebrate the Life and Legacy of Mrs. Laura Lee Ford Baker, 72, of Shreveport, La.
SISTER LAURA LEE FORD BAKER was born November 22, 1945 in Shreveport, Louisiana to the late Laura Brockett and Willie Ford. She was the youngest of four children.
She accepted Christ as her Lord and Savior at an early age. Laura graduated from Booker T. Washington High School.
Laura married the love of her life, Willie J. Baker, on December 19, 1970. To this union, five children were born.
On Thursday, December 28, 2017, Laura departed this earthly life at home surrounded by loved ones. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband and one sister, Gloria Jean Garner.
Laura leaves to cherish her memories and celebrate her life, five children, Annette (Alonzo) Ford, Darren (Diondrea) Ford both of Shreveport, Louisiana, Bruce (Angela) Ford of Mansfield, Louisiana, Carnarvus (David) Kidd of Federal Way, Washington and Margo Baker of Dallas, Texas; twenty-six grandchildren; thirty-one great grandchildren; brother, Howard Ford of Lancaster, California; sister, Tenise Lee Robinson of Shreveport, Louisiana; a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
