Korey Deon Bryant, 20, of Logansport, Louisiana transitioned on January 11, 2011. He was born on June 16, 1990 in Jacksonville, North Carolina to Kevin and Cynthia Bryant. He attended San Clemente High School until his senior year when he transferred to Logansport High School, graduating in 2008. He continued his education at Southern University and then at Technical College. Korey enjoyed music, movies, and favored tinkering with electronics. Korey is survived by his parents Kevin and Cynthia, his siblings Kyle, Kaela and Kody; his great grandparents Dorothy Evans and Lucille Lewis, his grandparents Kenneth and Patrice Bryant, and Freddie Coleman; his aunts, uncles and their spouses Aundray Bryant, Kenetta and Marvin Herrin, Felecia Coleman, and Tamakie and Richard Gant; his cousins Aundray Bryant Jr., Michelin Bryant, Isaish Bryant, Dominque Tucker, Myles Mitchell, Isis Varner, and Darius Gant, his girlfriend Whitney Polley, and a host of other extended famiy members and friends. Proceeding Korey in death were his great grandparents George and Dorothy Bryant and Nezzer Evans; and his grandmother Glenda Coleman. A memorial service will be held at Mt. Olive Missionary Baptist Church on Saturday, January 22, 2011 at 1:00 p.m. with a repast immediatley following.
