We mourn the loss and Celebrate the Life and Legacy of Mr. Joseph "Joelee" Clark, Sr. 82, of Shreveport, La. Joseph "JoeLee" Clark, Sr. was born March 7, 1935 to the late Green Clark, Sr. and Sylvia Atkins-Clark. His Christian journey began at an early age. He was a member of Mt. Mariah Baptist Church for over 65 years. A faithful Sunday School member until his health failed him. Joseph was the father of Dr. Jacqueline JoAnn Clark, Sylvia Lorraine Clark-Sylvester, Michael Anthony Clark, Sr., and Joseph Clark, Jr. (Toka) and the late Angela Renee Clark. Joseph is also survived by 12 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren. Stepfather of Octavia Tenette Scott (Annie Mae), Harold Taylor and Vannester Taylor-Mahoney (Ruthie Mae). Brother of Rayvton Clark (Muriel), Lizzie Mae Clark-Thomas (James), Allie Clark-Capers, Dorothy Clark-White. Siblings that preceded him in death were the late Green Clark, Jr., Elijah Clark, Kanny Clark, Avoid Clark, his sisters were Mary Ann Clark-Smith, Ola V. Clark, Adele Clark-Thompson, Azzie Lee Clark, and Willie B. Clark; a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
