MR. JOHN HENRY LEWIS was born on March 29, 1940 to Walter Lewis III and Gustavia Lloyd Lewis in Shreveport, Louisiana. He attended Booker T. Washington High School then later he joined the U.S Army to serve his country. At an early age, John, confessed his faith in Jesus Christ and later became a member of Union Mission #1 Baptist Church. He greatest hobby was fishing. On July 20, 2017, John Henry Lewis, departed this life and entered into rest. He was preceded in death by his late wives; Hazel Carr Lewis and Margaret Owens Lewis, one daughter; Sharon Terrell, his parents; Walter and Gustavia Lewis. Precious memories will be cherished by 9 children, 22 grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren, 2 siblings; Diana L. Berry, Larry C. Lewis, 2 aunts, 1 uncle, 12 cousins, 6 nieces and nephews and a host of friends.
