Arrangements for Sister Jimmie Faye DeLoach Sister Jimmy Fayes funeral services will be held, Saturday, July 16, 2011 at 11:00 am at the Tommy G. Hamm Memorial Chapel burial to follow at Saline Baptist Church Cemetery, Calvin Louisiana. There will be a general public viewing from 9:00am to 5:00 pm Friday, July 15, 2011 follow by formal wake services from 6:00pm to 9:00pm. A new life for Sister Jimmie Faye DeLoach begun on July 6, 2011, when she stood before her Heavenly Father to be tested, and was found to be as pure gold. She was known by many love ones and friends as Jim but she never lost her identity as a sister, mother, aunt, grandmother, and friend. She was always giving her time, love, and helping hand to those in need. Sister Jimmie Faye was born, August 13, 1947 to the late Earline Childs and Richard DeLoach in Calvin, Louisiana. She confessed Christ at an early age at Saline Grove Baptist Church, Calvin Louisiana and was a faithful member until her Lord and Savior guided her home. She graduated from Pinecrest High School, Class of 1967. Later in life she also attended Huey P. Long Technical College where she completed courses and obtain a License as a Practical Nurse. After obtaining her License she work for over 20 years as a LPN serving her community, family, and friends in a profession she not only excelled in but truly love to do. Sister Jimmie Faye was preceded in death by her parents, and one brother Billy Charles Childs. She leaves to cherish her memories one son, Christopher DeLoach Los Angles, California; two grandchildren William Anthony Tinkney of Fort Worth, Texas and Terri Alexis Ward of Natchitoches, Louisiana; three sisters Mattie Pearl Childs of Winnfield, Louisiana; Odessa Childs Thomas of Winnfield, Louisiana and Patricia Ann Nichols (Terry) of Gainesville, Louisiana. A special lifelong friend, Joyce of Jonesboro, Louisiana; and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
