A resident and native of Baton Rouge, Ivory Holmes departed this life on Sunday, Dec. 23, 2007, at LSU Earl K. Long Medical Center. He was 37. Visiting at Winnfield Funeral Home on Saturday, Dec. 29, from 8 a.m. until eulogistic service at 10 a.m., conducted by the Rev. David Newman Jr. Interment in Winnfield Memorial Park. He is survived by his wife, Tamika Holmes; daughter, Tamika Aites; mother, Dolores 'Diane' Ellis Aites; father, Samuel Holmes Sr.; two stepchildren, three sisters, four brothers and a host of other relatives and friends.
