Sis. Ina Mae Carpenter-Thrash Behold I shew you a mystery; We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed, In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, The trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed . . Death is swallowed up in victory. O death, where is thy sting? O grave, where is thy victory? Sis. She used much good sense in her decision-making. In 1930, she united in holy matrimony to the late Deacon Buffie Carpenter Sr. for 56 years into this union eight sons and five daughters were born. The Lord blessed her to find love once again with the late Rev. Willie Thrash. She was preceded in death by her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Solomon Moody, her husbands, Deacon Buffie Carpenter Sr. and Rev.
