Services for Mrs. Gwendolyn A. Smith, age 52, of Winnfield, La., will be held Saturday, August 15, 2009, at 1:00 P.M. in the chapel of Winnfield Funeral Home, with Rev. Tommy Hamms officiating. Mrs. Smith, a registered nurse, passed Monday, August 10, 2009, in her home . Mrs. Smith is survived by: one(1) son, Alvin Smith, Jr. of Pineville, La; two(2) daughters, Brook Jackson, and Brandy Smith, both of Winnfield, La.one(1) brother, Lawrence Phillips,of Winnfield, La; two(2) sisters, Shirley Radford and Helen Brown, both of Winnfield, La; one(1) half sister, Mary Kirkendoll, of Winnfield, La. Additional survivors include two (2) grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. At the request of Mrs. Smith, she will be cremated.
