Guirey Lee Williams was born on August 29, 1936 to Roosevelt Williams and Reo Jackson Adger in Dixie, Louisiana. He attended Booker T. Washington High School, and Spaulding Business College and later joined the U.S. Army. At an early age, Guirey, confessed his faith in Jesus Christ, and later became a member of Sunshine Baptist Church in Dixie, Louisiana. He was united in marriage with Rosie M. Hickmon Williams. To this union five children were born: four daughters and one son. He retired from the Caddo Parish School Board. On July 3, 2017, Guirey Lee Williams, departed this life and entered into rest. He was preceded in death by his parents, one son: Kurvis Williams, three brothers: Commodore Adger, Howard Adger and Johnnie Williams. Precious memories will be cherished by his beloved wife Rosie M. Hickmon Williams, five children: Jacqueline Pouncy, Shenva Williams - Pennywell, Reata Williams, Shackquiel Williams, Garrell Williams, five grandchildren: Kurrell Vaughn, Raven Chaleur Sims, Montrell Williams, G'Kobe Webster and G'Kovin Webster, four sisters: Lue Adger, Linnie Adger, Betty Williams, Donette Williams, four brothers: Johnny Adger, Winson Adger, Terrell Adger, Isadore Adger, one sister in law: Alberta Williams and a host of friends and family We mourn the loss and Celebrate the Life and Legacy of Mr. Guirey Lee Williams 80 of Shreveport, La.Please keep the Williams Family lifted in your prayers.
