Gloria D. Johnson was born to Primus Johnson and Nancy Gladney Johnson on July 17, 1934, in Shreveport, Louisiana and she passed away on January 1, 2024.  She accepted Christ at an early age and was baptized at the First Baptist Church Shreveport, Louisiana.  Gloria was a long time member of Greater Zion Mission Baptist Church, and later became a member of the Mount Pleasant Baptist Church.

She was united in marriage to the late Pastor Dale K. Johnson and from this union four children were born.  She was preceded in death by her husband, 2 sons, Dale Johnson, Jr. and Brian Johnson as well as her granddaughter Karen Johnson and great granddaughter Ashanti Billie.

She leaves to cherish in her loving memories: One daughter, Wanda Johnson of Dallas, Texas and one son, Kevin Johnson of Sacramento, California; Five grandchildren, Derrick Johnson, Shannon Johnson, Andrea Johnson, Brandy Billie-Moore and Bridgette Glover.  In addition, Gloria leaves behind a host of beautiful great grandchildren, close relatives and adored friends
