Geneva Lee Kyles affectionately known as "Gin" was born on November 15, 1933 in Heflin, Louisiana to Matthew Smith and Ruther Lee Glover. She attended Booker T. Washington High School and Los Angeles Trade Technical College. Geneva enjoyed sewing, reading and drawing. On February 20, 2018, Geneva Lee Kyles departed this earthly life and entered into rest. She was preceded in death by her parents, Matthew Smith and Ruther Lee Glover; husband, Herbert E. Kyles and one son, Treamell Phillips. Precious memories will live forever in the hearts of her sons, Loyd Glen II, and Michael Kyles; daughters, Deandrea Duncan, Simone Rice and Ramona Kelly; grandchildren, Destiny and Desiree Record, Mone't Greene, Lance Kyles, Sean Beaty, Mikel and Mikala Kyles, Niya Kyles Carson and Parker Record; siblings, Ida Smith, Gail Smith, Pam Smith and Jerry Smith; Sebastian the Cat; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
